Scholarships

At Mount Mercy Academy, we believe education should be possible for everyone. We are willing to work with families who require financial aid, and are proud to offer a variety of scholarships for students with different skills and talents, who believe they would be a wonderful addition to the Mount Mercy Community.

Academic Excellence Scholarships

Each academic scholarship will follow the recipient for four years at Mount Mercy Academy. The awards go to the top scorers on the Catholic High School Admissions Exam. Students who put Mount Mercy Academy as their first choice will be eligible.

Alumnae Scholarship

FULL TUITION

Student who received the top score.

Head of School Scholarship

HALF TUITION

Student who received the second highest score

Catherine McAuley Scholarship

$5,000 

Student who received the third highest score

Legacy Scholarship

All four years: goes to a student selected by Mount Mercy Academy’s Scholarship Committee. Students must complete the application and submit an essay to apply. Students with a family member who attended Mount Mercy Academy are eligible.

Mission of Mercy Scholarships

These awards will be given out to students for service, character and/or academic achievement.

To apply, students must submit an essay and one or more letters of recommendation.

Approximately 80 named Benefactor Awards

The criteria for these scholarships is determined by the respective benefactors. Many are need-based. These students are selected by Mount Mercy Academy’s Scholarship Committee. Families must complete the financial aid application process (FACTS Grant & Aid) to be considered.

Funded Scholarships

Due to the generosity of our loyal Alumnae and their families, we are able to offer over several funded scholarships. Availability is dependent on the student meeting the criteria of the established scholarship. The criteria for these scholarships is determined by the respective benefactors. Many are need-based. These students are selected by Mount Mercy Academy’s Scholarship Committee. Families must complete the financial aid application process (FACTS Grant & Aid) to be considered.
